Hello everybody!

Well, here's the second part of my birthday in Budapest and to be honest the second part was my favourite. Since I don't like going out much esp. clubbing I prefer holding myself in silence. But since it was my birthday I needed to do something special right? Well, the party part is over and as mentioned already the second part which included tons of tourist activities was my favourite. We hopped of one of  Big Bus's sightseeing busses for a hop on hop off tour through Budapest.

We visited places like: St. Stephan's Basilica, acrossed the Chain Bridge, the Citadel, Matthias Church and so on. Pretty much a lot of highlights at once. It was my first time being away from home by myself except from several class trips but those doesn't count.

After all the sightseeing activities we decided to head for lunch and near from our hotel we found this nice place called Ezaz Cafe and Bistro. I wanted to go for a typical Hungarian dish so I went for the Gulasch which by the way tastes just delicious. Did you know that Hungarians love to use pepper in mostly all their meals? Yes, they do!
And I almost forget to tell you a short funny story that happend in the restaurant. When the waiter brought me my food he kindly informed me that those extra hot green pepper (in the pictures above) are extremely hot, like the spiciest in Budapest. I was like okay, you don't know that I'm african and I can eat a lot of spicy stuff when it comes to it. So I kindly let him know that he shouldn't be worried, I got this!
And guess what, I put one pepper in my mouth and I didn't feel anything spicy it was like nothing, seriously. Everybody in the restaurant was surprised that I finished them all in a sec without drinking water or so. Pretty funny to me haha ..never joke with africans when it comes to "spicy" food.

Anyways, to sum the day and my birthday up we enjoyed some spa time at our hotel with a hot Jacuzzi bath and movies in our room. Perfect day! Perfect birthday!

More Budapest experiences to come ..

Much Love xx

TRAVEL: BIRTHDAY IN BUDAPEST PART 1

// Two Piece: Alice's Pig // Leather Jacket: H&M // Watch: Casio // Heels: Primark //

Hey everybody!

I'm back from Budapest with an all new post about how I spent my birthday in Hungary. This is just the first part of my birthday, which means the second part will soon follow.

Well, my bestie and I arrived the day before my birhtday in Budapest where we spent 3 lovely days in the most amazing hotel in Budapest (more about that soon)

For the evening we decided to celebrate into my birhtday which by the way was on the 14th of April in a local bar near our hotel  that I actually forgot the name of. Nevertheless, we didn't know that the place a cab driver recommanded us was kind of  a "hipster" street where people be walking in sneakers and pants. So, to make things short we we're pretty much overdressed but never mind we still had a great time after all.

Speaking of my outfit - for this special occasion, I was recently hooked up by Alice's Pig, a new london fashion brand which was established in May 2013.
The brand image of the label as the name already says, comes from their love for Alice in Wonderland, where crazy is normal. The name is a reminder that colliding styles and cultures can produce something interesting and that there can be beauty and surprise in anything; even in a pig.

I immediately fell in love with this two-piece of crop top and midi-skirt. Y'all know how I love to wear crop tops so I needed to go for that one. The color is a lot different from the ones I'm used to but who cares? It's spring, the season of colors esp. fresh and juicy colors right?

Check out Alice's Pig online shop for modern, urban and vintage flair with colliding styles (here).

Stay tuned for more Budapest experiences of mine!

Much Love xx

OUTFIT: WHAT I WORE TO CHURCH

// Kimono: Boohoo // Top: Gina Tricot // Pants & Sandals: H&M // Watch: Casio //

What a lovely day isn't it? The sun is up, it's warm outside which means time for some quality time outside. My family and I took fully advantage of this amazing weather and went eating (once again ..lol) after church.

I associate spring with sun, ice-cream, BBQ's, family time and of course colourful fashion. To me spring also is the season of comfiness. I mean only in spring (and summer) we're able to wear just a comfy playsuit with not too much of layering. Time to wrap all the autumn/winter stuff away and welcome the spring in full amount.

Nevertheless, tomorrow I'm finally taking off to Hungary! Time is flying like real quick and I can even remember the day I booked my ticket which was months ago and now it's just one day left. I'm totally looking foward to celebrate my 20th birthday with my bestie and all the amazing architectures and sights Budapest has to offer.
I guess we'll probably be talking to each other in a week. But for those who can't wait to see impressions of my Budapest experience - don't worry I'll keep you posted on my social media accounts, esp. on Instagram. So if you aren't following me on Insta, make sure you do (here).

REVIEW: ST. TROPEZ SELF TAN DARK RANGE

Tan Enhancing Body Polish

Step 1: Prepare skin 24 hours before tanning with an all over application of St. Tropez Body Polish.

Tan Enhancing Body Moisturizer

Step 2: Immediately before tanning apply St. Tropez Body Moisturizer to any dry areas  such as elbows, knees, ankles, feet & hands to protect.

Step 3: To have an evenly and smooth tan effect a Applicator Mitt is needed. I used a mitt from a drugstore for less than 1€. Works too!
So before applying the Mousse, Lotion or Spray pump/spray a small amount to the mitt and apply to body.

St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse

Step 4 - Mousse: Before using the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse protect light areas at eyebrows and hairline with extra Moisturizer.
Pump a velvety mousse into a mitt and smooth from top to toe, making sure you're well covered.
Once you've got even coverage wait until touch-dry before getting dressed.  Avoid getting wet or exercise for at least 4 hours, leave on 8 hours or more for best results.

Finally, shower off to reveal a perfectly golden, natural looking tan. To maintan, re-apply a couple of times a weeks (preferable 2 times), nourish daily with St. Tropez Body Moisturizer and smooth with regular exfoliation for ultimate results.

St. Tropez Bronzing Spray

Step 4 - Spray: Before using the St. Tropez Bronzing Spray protect light areas at eyebrows and hairline with extra Moisturizer.
Then, hold the nozzle about "6 away from your skin and spray all over. Blend with your applicator mitt if necessary to make sure you're covered as it's only missed areas that can look patchy.
For the face - spray onto a mitt and cover the whole face with it.
Once you've got even coverage wait until touch-dry before getting dressed.  Avoid getting wet or exercise for at least 4 hours, leave on 8 hours or more for best results

Finally, shower off to reveal a perfectly golden, natural looking tan. To maintan, re-apply a couple of times a weeks, nourish daily with St. Tropez Body Moisturizer and smooth with regular exfoliation for ultimate results.

Note: I recommend a patch test that is carried out at least 24 hours prior to use. If there are any adverse reactions do not continue to use. Don't apply to broken, irritated or sensitive skin and stop using if your skin becomes irritated.

The bottom line is that ..
Clearly, the Mousse, Lotion or Spray worked and got me a much more golden glow that I had before but if you are seeking for a more intensivly effective glow that last longer I would recommend the Mousse and Lotion as they tend to be much more intensive in the outcome than the Spray does.

When it comes to the application the Spray was the easiest. You'll probably need another person to help you with covering your back but in my opinion it still was the easiest to apply.

To apply the Mousse and Lotion takes more time but it has a better result at the end of the day.

All three worked for me but they all have they pros and cons so it's up to you if you want a quick application or a much more intensive glow that last longer.

Check out the St. Tropez website for more details and other products (here).

OUTFIT: WHAT I WORE TO CHURCH

// Blazer: Bershka // Top & Pencil Skirt: Gina Tricot // Boots & Earrings: H&M //

Happy Easter my loves!
Today is a very special day for us christians because it is the day that Jesus has risen from death after he died for all of us. As for this very special rememberance day we always celebrated the rise of Christ in church. As it supposed to be.  It was a very powerful day and we all danced and glorified the holy name. I always loved Easter as Easter kid and always will remember what Christ did for me. You should too.

For today I deciced to go white again and add a lil pop of color to it. And you can't blame me for wearing my white booties once again, they're just amazing and simply fit to every of my cloths. Seriously! Whilst I'm writing this post am also getting ready for a wedding of a friend that I'll be attending soon. This is the look that I'm going by.

However I wish you all great holidays with your closet ones.

Talk to you soon ..

THE CROP TOP: ONE PIECE THREE WAYS

casual

classy

grey

Hey everyone!

Unfortunately you haven't heard of me on sunday with one of my 'What I wore to church' post because we're seriously having some bad ass (excuse my french) weather over here. I'm barely making it out because once you're out you'll going to be wipped around by heavy storms and harsh rain. Pretty much not the best weather to shoot outsides. I so hope that it's going to be a lot better soon!

However since I'm not able to shoot outfit pictures at the moment I choosed to take the time to do another sets. It's always so much fun to be on Polyvore and create amazing styles which can possibly be turned into looks I'll wear sometime. It's a good way to get some inspirations but also to have a first impression on how a style going to look like.

Today's main piece is the crop top. I deciced to go for a turtle neck, plain croppie and pimp it up with additional pieces. The first one is a very simple causal kinda hipster look which I would definetely wear in day time for my every day look. But only if the weather get's better.

The second and third are quite similar styles but I wanted to show you how the casual chic look can be worn with a pants and skirt. I know people who don't even wear pants, jeans or whatever but my opinion on this is that you can look just as chic in pants as in skirts if you get it right.

I hope that I can be back soon with another ootd of mine. Fingers crossed that we get to enjoy at least one hour a day of sun since it's officially spring.

Much Love xx
