TRAVEL: MY STAY AT ANDEL'S HOTEL PRAGUE

First of all, happy new year guys!

Hope you enjoyed great company on NYE's and are all set for a new year and new surprises.

One of my many highlights I had in 2016 was visiting Prague for the first time (which btw was on my bucketlist) and staying at the very beautiful, four star andel's hotel (click here) by Vienna House.

I visited with the boyfriend and had such an amazing stay. The team really did it's best to make our short trip unforgettable and felt like home! The hotel comes in a luxury modern, chic design which I love. Everything was just so well set and clean. I personally, love minimalism when it comes to fashion and interior as you guys can tell - so they already had me by that.

As it was the beginning of christmas season we just stayed for a weekend and did our best to see the most of Prague. We also did attend the Prague christmas market by suggestion of the hotel which was so much fun! As well as loads of shopping trips and a lot of eating.

From their website you can choose between many kinds of rooms. For example from executive rooms to suites, apartments, studios and more. Basically, rooms for every taste and budget.

We were hooked up with the Superior room (click here) which came with a double bed, working desk, TV area, kitchen & bathroom. I was so spoiled by the gifts the hotel prepared for me at the arrival. They put on some fruits and  chocolate/vanilla maccarons on the desk as well as small gifts like lip balm, cards and many more. How highly of them right?

We didn't use the kitchen as much. Just for the minibar and to get some tea. Oh and by the way, they had the most delicious tea. I'm such a sucker for all kinds of fruit tea and very picky when it comes to it you must know .. I love a strong and not too sweet tea.

Sweet welcoming note by the hotel

We suited ourselves with mostly everything since the hotel has a very wide range of mostly all kinds of treats and even organics. From different kind of bread to fruits, salad, cereals even asian breakfast and more.

Delicious fruit infused water

All in all we had an amazing stay and I can only speak highly of it. Will definetely visit again since sadly we couldn't see all of Praha in that short period of time.

Have a lovely week guys

TRAVEL: MY STAY AT HOTEL PARLAMENT BUDAPEST

Welcome to Hotel Parlament

Reception

Standard room with twin beds

A bottle Champagne, chocolate and a sweet note as welcoming gift

Bathroom

Breakfast Room

Minibar

Lounge Bar

View from the bar

Internet Corner

Jacuzzi & Sauna

I've finally settled back in home and got back to my daily routine although I already miss Budapest so much. Especially do I miss this incredible hotel that I was able to call home for a couple days.

Hotel Parlament is a 4 star stylish new boutique hotel centrally located in Budapest, close to the Parlament.
Decorated in a minimalist style, the hotel features 65 individually designed, modern guest rooms with chic furnishings, flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, free buffet breakfast and free high-speed Internet access.

The uniquely designed hotel bar offers a selection of Italian coffee specialties, a wide range of teas, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages along with snacks and sandwiches. The free buffet breakfast is served in the hotelís restaurant. Room service is also available during breakfast time. During "Happy Hour" (10:00 am to 5:00 pm) free tea, coffee, mineral water and snacks are available to all guests. Leisure facilities include a Jacuzzi and a Sauna open from 6 am to 10 pm. Additional hotel services and facilities include 24-hour reception, ticket/reservation services, an internet corner, a library with international newspapers and two conference rooms that can accommodate up to 60 people in total.

We were friendly welcomed at the reception by a lovely lady. Although we were a bit early to check in, she immediately took action to arrange everything for us. Before we got to our room, we spent some time at the Lounge Bar drinking coffee and eating snacks.

In our room was this nice welcoming gift including Champagne, chocolate and a very sweet note. They already had me with the chocolate. I'm such a sucker when it comes to sweets esp. when it's one of my favourite chocolate. How did they know?

What I loved during our stay the most was the variety you had each morning for breakfast. From bread to salad, fruits, meat, juice, yogurt, cereals, tea, coffee the list goes on. Really all things covered up.

The Spa area was a big plus as well. After a long, exhausting tourist day including a lot of walking we needed a place to chill out so every evening we spent a lot of time on our own at the spa. I could literally sleep in the Jacuzzi, so warm and cozy.

I already miss this place and Budapest. Hope I can visit soon again.
If you ever going to be in Budapest this is a hotel that I would highly recommend and is worth all the money. More details (here).

Much Love xx

Happy new week y'all!

Today's post is all about our last official day in Budapest. On that day we decided to go on a hop on hop off tour on a boat and of course did lots of eating.

We've started the one hour boat tour in the afternoon and saw a lot of places like the Parlament, Chain Bridge and many more. It's a whole different view when you see it all right from the water, like literally in it. It  was a very cool tour and we had just the perfect weather for such a tour.
My bestie and I literally turned the boat into a photoshoot and took the best advantage of it. I mean how often can you be on a boat in a foreign country right?  Despite the fact that we weren't the only ones on the boat. We  had like 20 people with us but that didn't distract us from doing our thing.

After the tour ended we hopped on another bus to grab something to eat after a adventures day. Before the tour started we already had lunch but to be honest it wasn't quite the deal. The prices were on the expensive side so I expected something at least appropriated but it wasn't at all. I ordered the Gulasch again because the day before I had like the best Gulasch ever so I thought I wouldn't go wrong with it since it's a national meal. But I was totally wrong and literally had to forced myself to eat at least a bit. After all, I paid for it so why shouldn't I take advantage of it.

Nevertheless, with that being said it was more than fair enough that we went for another round at this very beautiful restaurant called New York Salon. Did you see all this amazing golden architectures? To die for right? I immediately fell in love with the place and couldn't hold myself back from taking pictures. Everything there was on point. The waiters, the food, location ..just all in all perfect.
If you're ever going to visit Budapest this is a place I would highly recommend! And also they had this amazing apple cake that literally killed me that evening. I ordered twice and wanted to go for a third but I already had like so many things on my plate.

Anyways, there is one last post from Budapest coming up an it's about my stay at Parlament Hotel.
Stay tuned!

Much Love xx
