BEAUTY: SCANDAL IS HERE

Happy Cyber weekend guys!

Hope my Americans did spent a great Thanksgiving with loved ones.
For all of you like myself living in Europe where Thanksgiving isn't really a thing - I hope you still got to take advantage of all the "black friday" and upcoming "cyber monday" sales.

I for myself did a ton of shopping due to christmas season and just for the sake of the weather changing rapidily into the cold. Grabbed some amazing turtlenecks and suede pieces even a New Year's Eve look already.
Suede really is a thing right now huh?

Other from that, the new fragrance by Jean Paul Gaultier dropped a few months ago and I luckily got sent with it by the lovely team at Flaconi.
I already told you guys before about Flaconi. An online website where you can shop all things beauty and especially perfume within Germany and Austria.
Since let me tell you guys - perfume is not cheap in stores! But here you actually get off with great prices that are much more reasonable!

So back to SCANDAL .. that's what the name of the new fragrance on the market is called.
Let's first talk about that dramatic packaging. I mean, just look at it with them sexy legs on top. So scandalous right? It's really making up to it's name!

To me, it's a perfect scent for an independent women who's standing with both feet in life, knowing exactly what she want's and can have. Oh and of course who is self-confident and loves to feel sexy here and then.
The scent contains of sweet honey, grapefruit & patchouli.

And as for cyber weekend the scent actually is on sale at the moment. Grab it here (click).
I got you covered ;)

Let me know all the bargains you could gather during black friday.

Have a lovely week.

Much Love xx

BEAUTY: NIGHTTIME SKINCARE ROUTINE WITH ELEMIS

Happy Thursday guys!

Hope you've been enjoying the summer. For most of us in Germany it is slowly becoming autumn.
Autumn has always been one of my favourite season of the year but let's be honest I at least wished to have experienced summer a bit more.
Still have some pieces hanging in my closet ready to wear but since we're already transitioning (at least what it feels like) I guess I'll have to wait until next summer.

However, today I wanted to talk to you about a product I've been using for couple of weeks. I've already included it to my nighttime routine. Even replaced a few products with just this one.

ELEMIS PEPTIDE4 NIGHT RECOVERY CREAM-OIL

What it says and promises:

BENEFITS:
  Hydrates, Restores, Replenishes

"This skin synchronising night cream-oil combines the hydration of a moisturising cream with the protection of an oil. Skin follows natural circadian rhythms which boost repair and renewal at night.

ELEMIS’ tetra-peptide helps support this natural process, with Perilla Seed and Night Scented Stock oils leaving skin feeling rebalanced, restored and replenished. Wake up to a healthy looking complexion."

Personally, what I've experienced and I'm agreeing on is that the moment you massage the cream gently to your face it immediately moisturizes and makes your skin feels super soft & smooth. Also leaving with a light feeling on your face to sleep and waking up with no residues. I hate it when you add cream in general and it feels so heavy-weigthed like you put 2 layers of makeup on. So a big props to that.
Oh and I like the scent it doesn't smell chemical or anything harsh just natural and waterbased.

What do you guys use in your nighttime routine? And if you want to purchase the cream oil you can get it at QVC (here)

Happy trying!

BEAUTY: NEW! BOSS THE SCENT INTENSE FOR HIM & HER

- F O R  H I M -

- F O R  H E R -

Happy Sunday!

From the title you can guess that today it's all about beauty, THE SCENT to be exact.
To me, personally I do care a lot for my skin, hair just beauty in general.
Lately though I've been caring Aaah lot for my hair since I've started this natural hair journey which you guys know for about 8 months straight now! Yay!!
But this doesn't mean that I'm neglecting all other routines that comes to beauty. Hair in general but natural type four hair precisely takes a lot more time than skin care, putting on fragrance and so on.  At least I've experienced that.
It is actually such a relief that perfumes come in a finished bottled and you are only to choose which overtone, heart note & base note .. which kinda makes it easier compared to choosing which hair products.  Because that's a whole other story!

Flaconi has always been my number one, go to website for all things perfume. And I'm saying that because I've been ditching local beauty & supplier stores for quite some time.
Reason being that those shops are much more expensive in comparison to online shops. Since I'm all about making bargains and saving money this seems like the perfect way to me.
I mean who doesn't want to save some coins right?

I know that some people still like to actually go shopping rather than being in bed/home/office shopping. It's the same with clothing shopping.
I've been ditching those stores as well since let me be honest .. it is more convenient!
I'm a cozy person so if there's a chance to stay at home, do all the shopping and receiving my delivery within a few days, I'm taking it!
However, still to mention that it is hard to find a scent online. No lie! So what I did before was to actually go in stores (yes haha)  and seek for the perfect scent and since I've found my perfume a while ago there's no need for me to visit a beauty & supplier store any time soon.

My all time favourite as you guys might know is still the Giorgio Armani Sí.
Knowing that the new Hugo Boss The Scent Intense perfume has quite a similar note. I love a fruitty but also rose ingredient perfume that has some elegance to it. The Scent for her includes peach, devilwood flowers and roasted cocoa beans. Whereas the Si includes some vanilla instead of the beans. But yet similiar and fruitty does the Hugo Boss comes in.
A good option for me to sometimes change up the game. However, the boyfriend doesn't like me changing perfume at all haha! But he did approve on The Scent which is rare!

My boyfriend also got hooked up with the for him eau de perfume Boss The Scent Intense.
Both perfumes compliment each other and smell similar only with minimal differences like cardamom and some vanilla extract in the guys version to make it more dominant, resistant just manly.
If you ask me - the perfect match which I've experienced and loving the fact that the boyfriend and I now have matching perfumes. Cute right?

Wishing you a great week!

THE LUST LIST #8: YELLOW IS THE NEW BLACK?!

[Tip: Hover over the picture for info, click it to take you to item on store’s website.]

Happy new day guys!

Have you missed my Lust List's? I honestly missed them and felt like the blog wasn't complete without my weekly craving lists. I love doing outfit posts and all but just beeing able to put a few cravings to digital paper and share them with you guys has always been so much fun.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to continue with the tradition and post weekly but let's start all over and see where I can get things to. Uni has just been one priority in my life and I don't want to take education for granted. So please bare with me guys ..

Let's move on to today Lust List topic. I know, I know .. I've always been the one to praise black and all but I feel like whenever it's getting hot outside or just spring & summer in general I feel like trying new things, experiencing with color especially. Since I went on the natural hair journey I've began to even more love my skin complexion and understanding what beauty really means. It's not about expressing yourself through make-up or more exact superficial things. I feel like we have to go there more into depth. Beauty is about loving yourself, your roots and just celebrate ethnicity.
Now that I've gained more knowledge I've seen that colors such as yellow, green just colorful shades tend to look so good on melannin skin. Been craving all those instagram black baddies who celebrate and embrace their color and crown which in the natural hair community stands for the afro. I'm really beginning to understand, accept and love more.

However, I've been on so many pages and even to stores seeking colorful clothing such as yellow sunnies (which I luckily found on H&M for only 7€. Very similar to the one linked above), yellow tops and pants and so on. One thing that I'm really on the lookout for are yellow off-shoulder/cold-shoulder tops. I feel like there are not many of them out yet! Or do you know where to get those? Help a sister out haha .. Desperately looking!

Are there any colors you love to embrace while summer?

Let me know down below .. and remember to always love yourself first!

Much Love xx

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR HIM & HER + GIVEAWAY TIME!

You heard it right guys! I'm running another giveaway; so stick up to the very end with me to get all the details how to enter ..

As christmas season is just around the corner I wanted to do a christmas gifting related post as I'm aware of it how hard it can get to find the right gifts for your loved ones. Basically, every year I do immense brainstorming on what to buy for my family and friends and I can tell you that it's not that easy!
I come from a household of 8 people,  including of 6 kids and the parents. Luckily, we only have 2 guys in the house whom are always giving me such a hard time to find gifts for.
I find it so much easy to go into the city or online and buy stuff for the ladies cause I obviously am also one haha. We women usually know what things to gift each other but on the other side are clueless what the gents could possibly like for christmas. Maybe it's just me ...

After a lot of digging and research I came up with the idea - why not buy something that could be a benefit for both parties. Something to take care of their skin care and apperance since we all somehow need to look out for that ones in a while ..

This year around I've teamed up with Braun to hopefully make gifitng much easier. Personally, I just find the Braun Series 3 (click) or in general a razor a perfect fit for the gents or in this term my daddy. It comes in a clean, nice design as well as it has good quality (my boyfriend so said)
However, since my daddy first of all has a beard and secondly always takes so much time getting it into shape and stuff like that you know I'll defo go with that this year.
And as for my mumy, I just know her favourite scent in parfums so I think this year I'm going with a parfum and maybe an extra. BUT I on the other hand would be very pleased (if I wouldn't have had it already) to get an epilator since I'm kinda stressing my skin daily with a shaver.
Hate it that I'll spend the morning shaving only to get home after a long day and find my legs hairy again. So an epilator will pretty much do the work for me especially for summer season that well is not quite yet but for sure coming.
The new Silk Epil 5 Wet & Dry epilator by Braun (click) comes with changeable tools to make the process easier and also exfoliation tools. I for the first time used an epilator and I'm not gonna lie, if you're a beginner such as I am you can't avoid the pain. It'll get better from time to time but at first there honestly are no excuses. My tip, do it while taking a bath (since it can be used in or out the water) and that preferably in the evening since you don't want to have itchy, red skin throughout the day. It made the process a lot comforting for me beeing in the tub. Not to forget will you be getting rid of the hairs for at least 4 weeks which truly is a blessing. No more daily shavings, itchy skin & dryness after.

But let's now come straight to the point, I know that you've been waiting for this ;)
This time the giveaway is held on my facebook page (here) and you'll be able to win either the Braun Series 3 rasor or the Braun Silk Epil 5 Wet & Dry before christmas!! The winner is going to be choosen randomly and will be contacted by the Braun team.
Enter in just easy steps (here).

Happy gifting!

Much Love xx

HAIR TALK: IRRESISTIBLE ME CLIP INS

Hey y'all!

A couple weeks ago I received a lovely package from Irresistible Me the hair extension brand and since I still had my braided hair at that moment of arrival I couldn't try the product earlier. Which was why I was even more excited to try! The package was literally dying in it's corner for like ages. However, one thing that explained my excitement was the fact that I've never tried clip-ins before just the typical sew-in weaves, braids, ponytails and so on. You know the deal my african sisters.
So it was pretty much something new to me and just for instance, I always thought (and don't take it offensive or personal ladies) that it was a "white girls thing" but I was totally proven wrong. Those clip-ins are so easy to handle and install to the hair. I even did it myself!
It's so much more healthier for your own hair than the sew-ins. They were the once that literally ruined my hair totally to this short mess! Never gonna let nobody to my hair with a needle again!

Ohh .. and before I forget - from their very amazing and variable collection I choosed a bundle that came in 200g & 20 inches of the Royal Remy clip-ins in Natural Black which is #1B (click here).

And let me tell you something, the hair feels so soft and very natural and matched my own (short) hair perfectly.

See the transformation yourself:

I'm not a pro when it comes to installing hair but I think I pretty much did great consider it for the first time and deserve a pat on my shoulder! haha

What do you guys think? ..

Much Love xx

REVIEW: RAPID WHITE BLEACHING STRIPS

Happy Friday guys!

A couple months ago I got to try a new homebleaching product from Rapid White and I absolutely loved it! It came in a whole bleaching kit with many stuff in it. (post here)
but for this time, as soon as I heard that they have a new product on line I sure had to go for it. I've always heard a lot about bleaching strips and when I found out that Rapid White has it on offer I was more than happy to try. The package of the Bleaching Strips Kit came with the "Beschleuniger" & of course the strips which we have 14 of and that's it. They also promise that this method is going to bring whiter teeth within 5 days which is quite impressive since the other kit works in at least a week.
But here we go. I'll let you know the steps as usual and at the end of it I'll let you know my opinion on this product.

Step 1: (teeth has to be brushed before applying)
- take one package of the strips, open it and put it aside for the next step

Step 2:
- now it's time to take the "Beschleuniger"
- press it on each teeth you want to whiten but make sure not to close your mouth while doing so, since it can be easily removed by the lips

Last step:
- now take one strip each and press it on the upper jaw then lower jaw
- let it in for at least 5 min. then rinse out with water
- mind eating for at least 15 min.

... that's pretty much it! Make sure to repeat every morning & evening

Before                                                               After

As you can see, I don't have perfect teeth I've never had! From time to time I do struggle with little yellow areas on my teeth as well but since we're all human I guess we all go through the same right?
From the outcome, I can say that I'm fully impressed. I mean the process only took me half the time I had with the other product. It's easy, fast & it's effective!

But ..and here comes the big but (no, just kidding, just a small but haha) .. I had some struggles during the process and I'm not gonna hide those from you! During the last step which is the one while pressing the strips on your teeth I felt kinda disgusted by the taste of it. I know I'm not supposed to eat the strips but to be honest if you have those in your mouth for like minutes there's no way you can avoid to swallow. But in case of the function it pretty much does it's job and as long as it does that I'm all fine with the taste and it's a weird, sweet taste just for instance..

Have an awesome weekend guys!

Much Love xx

OTHER: BEAUTY SHOOT

Happy new week y'all!

Hope you had a great weekend just as much as I did. I already told you some time ago that I was planning a short trip to a tropical islands resort with the fam. We spent 2 amazing days at that place and it was basically what I needed after fashion week and all the other things that I had going on lately. I could just leave those things off my chest and focused on having fun and spare time for myself. We had amazing food, amazing hotel rooms and the list goes on .. Have some impressions shared on my Instagram (here) & Facebook (here). Since Snapchat only lasts for 24 hours the story is already gone. But I saved it tho ..

But let's get back to business .. a few weeks ago I did a short meet-up with Diana a lovely photographer from Berlin with whom I already had the pleasure to shoot. We just took some "beauty, fashion" shoots since we haven't made pictures in a while. But we'll sure change that ..like have you seen the results?! I'm so thrilled and in love with them. She is indeed a great photographer!

I just leave you with that and let you enjoy our work .. lol

Until next time ...

Much Love xx

REVIEW: ST. TROPEZ SELF TAN DARK RANGE

Tan Enhancing Body Polish

Step 1: Prepare skin 24 hours before tanning with an all over application of St. Tropez Body Polish.

Tan Enhancing Body Moisturizer

Step 2: Immediately before tanning apply St. Tropez Body Moisturizer to any dry areas  such as elbows, knees, ankles, feet & hands to protect.

Step 3: To have an evenly and smooth tan effect a Applicator Mitt is needed. I used a mitt from a drugstore for less than 1€. Works too!
So before applying the Mousse, Lotion or Spray pump/spray a small amount to the mitt and apply to body.

St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse

Step 4 - Mousse: Before using the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse protect light areas at eyebrows and hairline with extra Moisturizer.
Pump a velvety mousse into a mitt and smooth from top to toe, making sure you're well covered.
Once you've got even coverage wait until touch-dry before getting dressed.  Avoid getting wet or exercise for at least 4 hours, leave on 8 hours or more for best results.

Finally, shower off to reveal a perfectly golden, natural looking tan. To maintan, re-apply a couple of times a weeks (preferable 2 times), nourish daily with St. Tropez Body Moisturizer and smooth with regular exfoliation for ultimate results.

St. Tropez Bronzing Spray

Step 4 - Spray: Before using the St. Tropez Bronzing Spray protect light areas at eyebrows and hairline with extra Moisturizer.
Then, hold the nozzle about "6 away from your skin and spray all over. Blend with your applicator mitt if necessary to make sure you're covered as it's only missed areas that can look patchy.
For the face - spray onto a mitt and cover the whole face with it.
Once you've got even coverage wait until touch-dry before getting dressed.  Avoid getting wet or exercise for at least 4 hours, leave on 8 hours or more for best results

Finally, shower off to reveal a perfectly golden, natural looking tan. To maintan, re-apply a couple of times a weeks, nourish daily with St. Tropez Body Moisturizer and smooth with regular exfoliation for ultimate results.

Before

After Spray

After shower

Note: I recommend a patch test that is carried out at least 24 hours prior to use. If there are any adverse reactions do not continue to use. Don't apply to broken, irritated or sensitive skin and stop using if your skin becomes irritated.

The bottom line is that ..
Clearly, the Mousse, Lotion or Spray worked and got me a much more golden glow that I had before but if you are seeking for a more intensivly effective glow that last longer I would recommend the Mousse and Lotion as they tend to be much more intensive in the outcome than the Spray does.

When it comes to the application the Spray was the easiest. You'll probably need another person to help you with covering your back but in my opinion it still was the easiest to apply.

To apply the Mousse and Lotion takes more time but it has a better result at the end of the day.

All three worked for me but they all have they pros and cons so it's up to you if you want a quick application or a much more intensive glow that last longer.

Check out the St. Tropez website for more details and other products (here).

Much Love xx
